Revealed: What my poor comic artists have to cope with...
Oh the horror! The horror!

Just a quick one today, but I found something that made me smile when I was going through notes and wanted to share it with you.
A comic script is basically a letter from you to the artist, a chance to say:
a) here are all the things I have in my head,
b) here's how I think we can make them work,
c) please let me know if you have a better idea!
It's not the final story. It's not even a blueprint. It's a springboard. A guide rather than a list of instructions.
And sometimes, when I can't get it down in words I draw them pictures.
Oh, the poor souls.
Here's one I did for Gwenpool's artist, Stefano Nesi for something in issue 4.

I think I included the note: 'please don't laugh... too much.'
You'll be able to see how it turned out later this year when the series hits comic stores! Just don't expect this actual scene!
